Questions Specific to the COD Series

Q: I got shadow banned. How long does it last?

A: The duration of a shadow ban is typically between 1 day and 3 months. If it lasts longer, please contact Activision support as COD Sign has no involvement in these matters.

Q: How can I check if I’m shadow banned?

A: You can check your ban status on Activision's official website:

  1. Log in with your Activision account.

  2. Click "Continue," and it will show your account status:

    • Shadow ban

    • Permanent Ban

    • No Ban

Q: How can I appeal a shadow ban?

A: You can appeal a shadow ban by following these steps:

  1. Log in using your account associated with the game.

  2. Select "Submit an Appeal."

  3. Write a message explaining your case and request a review.

Q: If I play with full cheats, will I get shadow banned?

A: Shadow bans depend on the number of reports you receive, not on whether you use cheats or not. It doesn’t matter if you’re playing clean, using cheats, or playing on Xbox or PlayStation. If you get enough reports, you will be shadow banned.

Q: Does the cheat include a spoofer?

A: Yes, this applies to COD cheats only, including Black Ops.

Q: When I try to access Ranked mode, I see this message:

Ranked Ban

A: This means you’ve been banned from Ranked mode.

Q: Can the Ranked ban be lifted?

A: Yes, but there’s no specific timeframe. It may take a month, two, three, or even six months.

Q: How long does a second or third shadow ban last?

A: There’s no such thing as a second or third shadow ban. A shadow ban is the same every time, with the same duration and process.
